Solterra is located in south Guelph, with easy access to the 401 and minutes away from shopping in any direction. Situated one of Guelph’s most tranquil neighbourhoods, Solterra is bordered by greenspace and encompasses trails, parks, and ponds, incorporating nature into this master-planned community.
Bordering Solterra to the west is one of Guelph’s highest-ranking schools, Ecole Arbour Vista Public School, a French Immersion school. Take a short 8 minute drive north of Solterra and you’ll find the University of Guelph, one of Ontario’s premier post-secondary institutions.
There are three main shopping centres in south Guelph near Solterra. The first is located at Clair and Gordon Streets. This shopping centre, known as Pergola Commons includes a Zehrs, Food Basics, Galaxy Cinemas, plenty of restaurants, as well as a public library.
At the intersection of Kortright and Edinburgh Roads is the Hartsland Market Square, with easy access to grocery shopping, casual dining and takeout restaurants, and everyday needs and professional services.
A little further up Edinburgh toward Stone Road, you’ll arrive at the Stone Road Mall which includes stores such as: Indigo, Sport Chek, Starbucks, and over 100+ shops and restaurants. This mall is complimented by plazas and shopping centres at the other three adjacent corners which include a Walmart, Canadian Tire, and Metro.
