Brian Cowell is the Vice President of Finance, IT, and Procurement at Fusion Homes, where he brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the team. Since joining Fusion Homes in 2017 as the Director of Finance, Brian has since demonstrated remarkable growth, culminating in his current role.
In his diverse role, Brian requires a balance of both strategic and operational thinking. Tasked with overseeing the financial health of the organization, as well as managing procurement and technology initiatives, Brian plays a crucial role in shaping Fusion Homes’ success.
Brian excels in developing a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape. He seamlessly integrates the macro perspective of overarching company goals with the micro-level intricacies of day-to-day operations. Beyond his strategic acumen, Brian is deeply committed to nurturing talent within his team. Brian has attained his CA designation and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and expertise in the field. Prior to Fusion, Brian embarked on his professional journey as an auditor with a national accounting firm. Brian has since ventured into the banking and retail sectors, leveraging his expertise to navigate complex financial landscapes.
Outside of work, Brian is passionate about spending time with his wife and their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys any activity that involves his family, their pets, sports and being outside.
