Fusion Homes, in collaboration with the Children’s Foundation of Guelph & Wellington, is proud to announce the profound impact of this past holiday season’s Adopt-A-Family program, which provided crucial food security to families in need during the holiday season.
Fusion Homes’ generous contribution of $60,000 to the Children’s Foundation resulted in an impressive achievement: feeding 600 families across Guelph and Wellington. The donation empowered families to select essential items not only for holiday celebrations but also for their day-to-day needs.
Through Fusion Homes’ partnership and the collective support of the Children’s Foundation donors’ village, the foundation reached a record-breaking milestone, assisting a total of 1,585 families comprising 3,515 children and youth. The infusion of over $340,000 in grocery cards, made possible by Fusion Homes’ donation, significantly bolstered food security initiatives, providing vital sustenance to those facing financial hardships.
Elyse Kowtecky, President of Fusion Homes, expressed her gratitude for the Children’s Foundation saying, “As I reflect on the impact of our donation, I’m inspired by the unwavering commitment of the Children’s Foundation to our community, and am proud that our team could take part in making a positive impact during this past holiday season!”
